Practice 04
Growth
Marketing and client development for businesses and professional firms, delivered as qualified introductions rather than advertising.
Overview
Volume marketing produces volume. For a law firm, a lender, or a specialist business, most of those leads are the wrong fit and cost time to sort through.
We work the other way. We speak with prospective clients directly, handle the intake, follow the advertising rules that apply to your profession, and introduce only the people who are ready for a conversation with you.
What the work covers
-
Qualified introductions
Prospective clients who have been spoken with, screened for fit, and told what to expect before they reach you.
-
Intake
A consistent first conversation that captures the facts you need, so your first meeting starts with substance.
-
Outreach within the rules
Campaigns and content built around the disclosure and advertising rules that apply to regulated professions, including attorneys.
-
Positioning and materials
A clear account of what you do and for whom, and the written materials that support it.
-
Introductions between firms
Relationships between complementary firms, such as lenders, accountants, and attorneys, that serve the same clients.
Who we work with
- Law firms and other professional practices
- Lenders and specialty finance companies
- Owner-led businesses that sell on trust
Process
How an engagement runs
- 01
Define the client
Who you want to meet, and who you do not.
- 02
Build the intake
The questions, the screening criteria, and the handoff to your team.
- 03
Run the program
Outreach, conversations, and introductions, with regular reporting.
- 04
Refine
We adjust based on which introductions become engagements.
Common questions
How is this different from buying leads?
A purchased lead is a name and a phone number. A qualified introduction is a person we have spoken with, who understands what you do, meets the criteria you set, and expects your call.
Do you work with law firms?
Yes. Work for attorneys is designed around the rules of professional conduct that govern legal advertising and client solicitation, and we follow the firm’s direction on any required disclosures.
Do you run advertising?
When a program calls for it, on a small and targeted scale. We do not run mass-market campaigns.
Talk it through, in confidence.
